1Army DNC 2022

Charles Harris ·

Congratulations to Dylan BartlettTaylor Wonders, Steve Harris and Chuck Harris for their awesome performance at the DNC 2022.  Dylan had troubles in qualifying with his HB 1Army Nitro buggy starting him in the F-main #71 seed in int. Nitro Buggy. Dylan bumped his way to the A-main finishing in the second spot giving up the lead on the last lap after tangling with lap traffic ending with a 61 second last lap. His 1Army adaptive chassis was dialed and used the entire event in combination with the 1Army engine mount and 1Army fuel. Dylan would also finish 1st with an awesome performance in int. E-Truggy running smooth consistent laps the entire main.

Tayler Wonders would qualify straight into the A-main finishing in second place in Int. Nitro Truggy with his 1Army fueled Tekno NT48 2.0. Tayler was on fire as usual and it was no surprise to see him on the podium as he is one of the fastest guys in the Northwest racing scene.

Steve Harris would also find himself qualifying straight into the A-main in Pro E-buggy utilizing the 1Army Adaptable Chassis.  This is no small task as that class is stacked!  Steve would qualify in the 10th starting spot positioned between Dakotah Phend and Ty Tessmann.  Imagine that pressure!  Steve would find himself chasing these guys the entire race after a bad first lap dropping to the 14th position.  He gathered his composure and ended up finish in the 12th spot.

Chuck Harris would find himself qualifying number 11 straight into the A-main in the 40+ Nitro Truck class with his 1Army equipped HB D8 Evo.  Chuck had made a few setup changes that proved to be a step in the right direction right before the start.  With only about 5 laps to go, Chuck found himself in 2nd place trying to keep his composure.  Unfortunately 3 of the last 4 laps Chuck made too many mistakes costing him 24 seconds finishing in the 3rd position.
